KazTransOil decreases oil transportation via Atasu-Alashankou pipe



NUR-SULTAN, Kazakhstan – The non-consolidated volume of oil transportation and transshipment by KazTransOil pipelines amounted 10 million 510,000 tonnes which is 535,000 tonnes less than in the first quarter of 2019, Kazakhstan’s national pipeline operator said on April 20. Of this volume transportation by KazTransOil pipelines to the domestic refineries is 4,069 thousand tonnes, which is 77,000 tonnes higher than in the first quarter of 2019.

“The volume of oil transportation by Atyrau-Samara to Russian direction section of Uzen-Atyrau-Samara pipeline amounted 3 million 328,000 tonnes (by 375,000 tonnes lower). The volume of oil transshipment to Atasu-Alashankou pipeline direction to China made 2 million 469,000 tonnes (by 202,000 tonnes lower). The volume of oil transshipment to the CPC pipeline via Russian territory until Black Sea port amounted 378,000 tonnes, which is 13,000 tonnes higher,” KazTrasOil said.

According to company, the volume of oil and petroleum products transshipment by the companies Batumi Oil Terminal and Petrotrans made 186,000 tonnes (by 27,000 tonnes lower).
