Pokémon GO for Android brings Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu and more into the real world, and it’s up to you to get out and catch them.

Now’s your chance to discover and catch Pokémon all around you – so put on your shoes, get outside and explore the world. You’ll join one of three teams and fight for prestige and Gym ownership with your Pokémon.
Pokemon exist and you need to find them. When you’re walking around your neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate if there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw the Pokeball… You’ll have to be on your guard, otherwise it might escape!

Some Pokémon spawn near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon near lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops located in interesting locations such as museums, art installations, historical sites and monuments to stock up on Poké Balls and useful items.

As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can expand your collection by hatching Pokemon eggs based on the distance you travel. Help your Pokemon evolve by catching many of the same Pokemon.

As your Charmander evolves into Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can fight together to defeat Gym and task your Pokémon with defending it against all comers.
