SimplySync Backup has a simple interface for any skill level. Start at the top and select your backup and destination folder(s). You can add a couple of folders, edit or delete any backups you create at any time.

Moving down, you can select the backup type.

General backup to copy files from a source to a destination, overwriting all existing files. This is the crudest way to back up files.

Recovery mode works like normal mode, only in reverse. In other words, it will copy files from the destination to the source, overwriting all files in place.

A strict backup is a little different because it deletes target files that don’t exist.

Sync mode copies only the newest files from the source to the destination and to the source.

Moving down, you have a few additional backup options. You can use the update method (overwrite only outdated files), skip copying system files, and skip copying hidden files.

Here you’ll see settings that allow you to install rather than use a portable app, with additional settings regarding installation method, and you can associate the app with .sall files.

Now that everything is set up the way you want, you can choose Open, Save, Save As, or Start Backup.
