Toucan is a simple utility that allows you to sync, backup and encrypt your files. It is divided into tabs, making it easy to find the function you want. Toucan’s tabbed interface makes it very easy to use. In addition to synchronizing in four different ways, the program also creates compressed backups (even incremental ones) and allows you to encrypt and decrypt data.

Toucan Features

• Five timing modes: Copy, Mirror, Balance, Move and Clear. They can be combined with various file checks such as file size, modification time, and file header check to minimize the amount of copying required.
• Backup and restore to industry-standard Zip, 7-Zip, and GZip files with full backup support, updating existing and differential backups, and restoring files from archive storage. Automatic verification of created repositories is also supported as password protection.
• AES-256 encryption with ccrypt.
• The rules system makes it easy to exclude files based on their name, regular expression, modification date, or file size.
• A large set of variables has been created for basic functions such as date and time, or more complex variables that point to a disk label or document directory. You can also define your own shortcuts as shortcuts for your USB drive or computer.
• Many other features such as Windows taskbar support, full drag and drop support, and translation into multiple languages.
