IVSee was founded in 2008 by two PhD students in Stanford, Milton and Erika, who wanted to simplify telecommunications. The original VSee platform was written by Milton, who is doing a PhD research in video communication psychology. Milton sent VSee for the inauguration of former President Obama, the Navy Seals, Hillary Clinton and Angelina Jolie on their escape mission. He has also personally traveled to Iraq twice, to Syria twice, to more than Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America on numerous relief and medical trips.
