Big view Scan the folder selected by the user and quickly generate a tree map, and group files together according to different conditions. The graphical representation can be easily navigated, and you can access the file in the Finder or delete it directly.

Immediately, you must direct GrandPerspective to the folder to be analyzed. By default, the app will organize files according to folders, but you can easily change files by activating the drawer panel attached to the main window.
Through the GrandPerspective display panel, you can change the sort criteria (creation, extension, file type, folder, last access, last change, level, name, top folder or nothing) or color palette.
Please note that GrandPerspective comes with a set of predefined palettes: you can switch between them, but you cannot define a new palette.
Filter the tree diagram representation to identify various types of files
In contrast, you do have the option of creating new filters to enable GrandPerspective to perform various tests and combine them in any combination to complete the graphical representation: audio, hard link items, images, large/large/medium/small/ Small files, software packages or version control.
In this way, you can mask or filter items in the map view, and even exclude certain elements when performing a scan. It is worth mentioning that GrandPerspective allows you to rescan the same folder with different settings, and you can open the results in a separate window and compare the results.

GrandPerspective offers the possibility to save the map representation to a TIFF image file, or you can use a proprietary file format to store the scanned data and load it again later.
During the test, we also noticed that the size of the GrandPerspective map data file of more than 1600 items containing 12 folders is about 500Kb, so you can successfully use the application to track the evolution of a folder without wasting Too much disk space.
