The GoldenCheetah application can store the data of multiple athletes, can be directly connected to the recording device to download information, or can import files generated by the device, or files extracted by other software solutions.
Easily import the riding data of various athletes
To start using the GoldenCheetah application, you must define at least one athlete profile by providing general details about body shape, name, age, etc. The app can also associate pictures with each user.
The next step is to connect to the device and download the ride data or use the import function to load the information into the GoldenCheetah library.
This utility can be used with Garmin, SRM, PowerTap or O_Synce devices, and can process any file format generated by these devices through the manufacturer’s software or using Training Peaks WKO+.
However, GoldenCheetah also supports manually inserting ride data into your diary.
Visualize cycling data and analyze the performance of each athlete
In the GoldenCheetah user interface, you can see a summary of each data entry, including ride details and related metadata, as well as graphs depicting stress levels, strength, speed, etc.
GoldenCheetah provides you with the possibility to monitor various parameters, such as your personal best results, time of other athletes in the area, power peaks, power distribution, and even compare different rides or athletes.
If the GPS data is inaccurate, the information can be edited, corrected, and filtered by different standards. The results can be easily exported to multiple file formats, such as JSON, PWX, CSV, TCX or KML.
