Tokler (Formerly known as Backer Timetracker) is designed to monitor your activities and create time charts based on the window used. In addition, the utility can also track free time and create a list that contains all the applications and time you deal with.

Requires access to control the time tracking application on your Mac
When you start Tockler for the first time, the application should prompt you to grant it permission to control your Mac, but in our tests, this did not happen. However, the app needs this permission to monitor your activities, so you have to handle the configuration yourself.
Just open the system preferences, navigate to the security and privacy panel, jump to the list of accessibility features, and check the box associated with the Toockler app. Of course, you need to provide the administrator password to make adjustments.
Once the processing is complete, Tockler will immediately start monitoring your window, and you will be able to view the data in the main window of the application. Note that Tockler will only record the window title.
Visualize your activity history with colorful time charts and log items
Tockler will automatically generate a time chart that describes the applications you are using, the items you are tracking, and your online, offline, or free status. You can choose to record work items and associate different colors with each item.
In addition, Tockler provides the same information in a list mode and generates a summary of your activities. In this way, you can see when work started or stopped in a specific window, how much time was spent on a specific project, and so on.
The window of the Tockler application is designed to cover the entire screen, but you can easily switch its visibility with the help of the accompanying status bar menu.
Monitor your activity and analyze your performance with colorful charts
All in all, Tockler can track everything you do on your Mac without violating your privacy: only the window title, the applications you use, online or offline status, etc.
Nevertheless, the utility does not have an export or backup function, so it may not be the best solution for historical activity records.
