We mentioned that this is a modern SQL editor, both in terms of appearance and functionality. One of the best aspects of Beekeeper Studio is that its GUI is cleaner (and arguably more powerful) than some of the more professional SQL editors. This is the best time to mention that the application has two default GUI themes: dark and light.
It allows you to connect to the aforementioned supported databases, encrypt your connection with SSL, or if you prefer, you can establish a tunnel via SSH. A nice feature is that you can also save all connections, including encrypted connections.
