From its status bar item, you can quickly modify the current 10 or 31 band equalizer configuration, and use the two horizontal slider controls at the bottom of the menu to adjust the system volume and audio balance.

You can save a custom equalizer configuration file by clicking the floppy disk button on the left side of the configuration file drop-down menu, and then click the trash can icon on the left to quickly delete unnecessary configuration files.

It is worth mentioning that eqMac also comes with a set of bundled default equalizer presets, which can be enabled by selecting the “Show Default Presets” option under the “Check for Updates” button.
