Unfinished

First of all, we must mention that mod unfinished in its current state. The last update of the mod was uploaded on November 11, 2021 and many bugs and issues have been found since then. We can’t tell if the developer is working on the mod, but no progress is being seen.

Squid Game: The Mod seems to focus more on bringing assets from the series to Minecraft. you bring squid classic like the red guards and the iconic little robot girl to your next minecraft project and enjoy environments like red light course, green light.

The mod also adds other vital assets to your game, such as an unfinished boss mob based on Front Man. Also expect to see Kang Sae Byuk in the latest update of the mod, along with his branded knife.

Performance Issues

In the case of Squid Game: The Mod, performance issues have nothing to do with the system the mod is running on, but more to do with current development. The first problem is how the little robot girl works: her head is constantly turning. Everywhere she looks, mobs die. So, instead of playing Red Light, Green Light, you are left with playing Stay Out of the Eyes of the Robot Girl Crowd.

The second problem is that the doll on the thumbnail of the downloaded file is different from the one you will see in the game. The one in the game is much smaller, simpler and not as aesthetically pleasing.

Great concept but refinement

Overall, the idea behind the mod is something we’d like to see more fleshed out. Squid Game: Mod really adds well done assets into the game in most cases and with a little development this mod could become one of the best Squid Game emulators for popular games.
