Displaying advertisements on web pages allows publishers to distribute content without requiring visitors to subscribe to the service. Unfortunately, this practice makes some pages unreadable, or consumes too much bandwidth and other resources.

AdBlocker Ultimate is a browser extension integrated with Safari, Firefox. Google Chrome or Yandex automatically blocks all ads and trackers. The plugin also allows you to make your own filter lists.

Effortlessly integrate plugins into your browser

To start using AdBlocker Ultimate features, you need to launch a web browser of your choice and navigate to the appropriate download page. Note that in some cases you may need to restart your browser to complete the installation.

AdBlocker Ultimate will place its icon next to your browser’s address bar, and you’ll see the number of ads blocked every time you navigate to a website. Note that you can create your own rules or just rely on the plugin’s filtering capabilities.

Create custom filter lists and decide which filter lists you want to activate

If you click on the AdBlocker Ultimate status bar icon, you will be able to see the main add-ons panel, toggle extension activity on the current domain, choose to block certain elements, or simply navigate to the options panel.

Here you can add your own filters, decide which filter lists should be active, or add specific domains to the whitelist. However, during our testing, we noticed that the editing tools for both types of lists didn’t work properly.

All in all, AdBlocker Ultimate is an extension that integrates with your favorite browser and is designed to provide a hassle-free navigation experience. If the add-on is active, you will not see ads and trackers will be blocked.
