DC++ is an open source Windows client for the Direct Connect network. Direct Connect allows you to share files over the Internet without limits or restrictions. The client is completely ad-free and has a nice and user-friendly interface. Built-in firewall and router support makes it easy and convenient to use features such as multi-hub connections, automatic connections, and resume downloads.

DC++ offers the following improvements over its predecessors:

• Much more stable. DC++ uses less memory, runs faster, has a smaller file size, and a long queue won’t hang the whole program. Neo-Modus Direct Connect consumes memory and resources.
• You can connect to many hubs at the same time and search for files on all of them with the same search.
• You can continue downloading the same file from other users if someone leaves.
• You can see the timestamps in the chat. The chat will not jump to the end when you roll back old messages.
• Bot messages will not appear in new windows, you can also filter bot messages.
• Without advertising.
• Search is more versatile.
• Hublist can be downloaded from multiple servers/sources.
