Battle of Wesnoth is a complex and engaging turn-based tactical strategy game where you recruit soldiers and turn them into tough veterans to fight alongside you against a variety of enemies.

Your battlefield is divided into three main areas: mainly the lawless north, the kingdom of Wesnoth and its principality Elensefar, and the lands of the elves of the southwest.

Exploring this land is a great way to find numerous villages that you can use to heal your troops and increase your income. You have to travel through rivers and mountains, through forests, tundra, grasslands or hills.

Ferocious creatures and changing landscape

Many creatures have been adapted to suit each of the above environments, and as a result, travel more easily and fight better in familiar lands.
