For the past three years, I have been using Sunsetscreen from Hyperhidrosis, a specialist in electronic health products. It was created by Melatonin, a company that specializes in natural sleep aids and melatonin tablets. The first time I used it, I immediately noticed a lack of glare on my screen and an increase in brightness and color (from my Samsung Galaxy S). Since then, I have been using this product to reduce sleep disturbances and improve nighttime sleep by allowing me to use my phone in less light (which also helps with brightness).

One of the things I love most about the Sunsetscreen is its ability to let me use my phone without increasing the light levels in my room, allowing me to read while I’m in bed. So if I’m reading in bed, my screen isn’t distracted by the bright light outside. Sunsetscreen has a few other smart features that I find very useful. My favorite feature is the “auto light” setting, which allows the sunset screen to turn off when you’re not using it and turn back on automatically when your phone rings. This means that you will never miss a magnificent sunset and will be able to enjoy all of its effects, instead of missing out on some details because you weren’t looking at the screen.

One of my favorite things about Sunsetscreen is that there are so many different options and settings for “automatic” so that I can choose brightness, contrast and melatonin levels (the main ingredient in melatonin pills) just the same. I would choose any of my usual brightness and contrast options. It has so many customizable options that I can actually change the background to give the room a different feel, or change the main color of the screen (using the Hue and Saturation presets). To me it looks and works great! I’ve come to the conclusion that this is the perfect solution for people who want to reduce their dependence on their mobile phones while still allowing them to use the screen as part of a picture-in-picture option.
