Forecasts
EarthDesk for macOS offers a choice of 12 projections, including Mercator, Azimuth, and Equal Rectangular, as well as a globe with an optional star field background.

Centering
Center on latitude/longitude, a point relative to the sun or moon, or any of 10,000 locations. Data subscription gives you even more centering options.

Map Tags
Multi-color labels can be used to group cities into categories and locate them on the app’s maps. Labels are defined for each screen for maximum versatility.

Performance
Earth Desk for Mac runs in the background with minimal resources. In addition to a beautiful picture on the desktop, you won’t even notice that it’s running.

Multiple Screens

The free cloud image service provides the application with global cloud images at a level of detail of 2 megapixels. Standard cloud images are updated every six hours.

Watch earthquakes happen all over the world. Choose the minimum magnitude to display, choose the number of days left, and dampen older quakes.

Named storms
Track major tropical storms, cyclones, typhoons and hurricanes. Choose how to label the storm and whether to display the Safir-Simpson category.

high resolution clouds
A data subscription provides you with high-resolution cloud images at a level of detail of 32 megapixels. High resolution clouds are updated every three hours.
