Rainmeter is a free and open source desktop measurement utility for Windows, developed under the GNU GPLv2 license. It allows users to create and display custom applets or skins on Windows systems that can be used to display data from virtually any hardware device such as digital cameras, microphones, weather stations, video monitors, infrared detectors, GPS/RFID. devices and wireless network adapters. To use Rainmeter, you first need to download and install the Rainmeter software and then open it in the Settings tab. From there, you will need to customize Rainmeter to your liking. There are two main ways to do this: directly through the Rainmeter app (recommended method), or through the web interface provided by the Rainmeter website. Here are some important tips that you should follow for any method.

If you are using the Rainmeter app directly, you can simply set Rainmeter preferences through the normal Windows Control Panel interface. However, if you are using the Rainmeter website, you will need to go through some configuration screens and make certain choices before you can use the Rainmeter app on y our computer. In most cases, you will be prompted to select a username and password to access the Rainmeter website and enable the application. You will also need to read the activation code provided to activate the Rainmeter skin on your desktop computer; usually this code is long but easy to remember.
