Solving the tile-based puzzles requires attention to detail and strategic thinking. Dragon Square is a small puzzle game for the Mac that lets you enjoy this type of pastime however you want.

TapSquares has an interesting gameplay: after you scramble the blocks, you have to tap on different blocks to reconstruct the original image. However, one click turns the selected tile and the other four tiles surrounding it at the same time. This of course increases the difficulty.

Also, through the Preferences window, you can specify the tapping mode you want to use (the attached illustration is very intuitive). The same area lets you toggle click sounds.

Initially, the puzzle uses three different colors, and you have to tap the squares until the board is covered with a single color.

Meanwhile, TapSquares allows you to start generating puzzles from one of your pictures: just drag and drop the picture on top of the game’s main window. The game will use different photo effects to create 3 different tilesets.

Last but not least, you can adjust the number of puzzles per puzzle: this way you can easily adjust the difficulty level.

All in all, if you like solving simple but challenging puzzles, TapSquares has the potential to generate endless puzzles by processing your images, and includes different tapping patterns, which will make the whole experience even more exciting.
