HyperSnap is compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows 10, 8 (desktop mode), 7, Vista and their corresponding Windows Server editions. On Windows XP, use HyperSnap 7.

What is new

• Fix: Escape key did not cancel auto-scrolling of the region
• 64-bit version, which allows the use of the full potential of modern 64-bit computers. Capture and edit much larger images, fit into memory multiple images open simultaneously in the HyperSnap window for editing and processing. A 32-bit version is also available for use on 32-bit systems.
• List of thumbnails – select all or several images and right click – Save selected – Each image to its own file: now asks you for the folder and image format you want to save in, instead of as in v.7 automatically saving to the last used folder and file.
• List of thumbnails – select all or multiple images and right-click: added new function “Email selected”, which will attach multiple images in selected file format to an empty email message.
• The order of thumbnails in the thumbnail bar can now be rearranged with drag and drop. This is important, for example, if you want to save some or all images in one PDF file, and the order in which they are saved is important.
• You can now drag out an image thumbnail, or several of them if marked with checkmarks, to the Windows desktop or Explorer folder. When you drop the thumbnails there, the images will be saved in that folder as PNG or JPEG files. You can also drag and drop them to other targets that accept files, e.g. MS Word, email, online file upload forms, etc.
• Wider lines when drawing shapes possible – under the “Line style” tool, click on the “Wider lines” menu item and enter the new width in pixels. • Any computer running Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 (including R2) or later, 32-bit and 64-bit releases. 100 MB of free disk space is required to install the program (about 25 MB is actually used after the installation is complete).
