Tower defense games are certainly one of my favorite genres. The premise is simple, you just need to defend your base from multiple waves of enemies to win.
However, each game tries to add new items to the original formula to keep things fresh and interesting.
Zone 2 Specifically takes you to a militarized area where you can place rocket launchers, laser beams, and other types of dangerous implements.
The overall gameplay is action-packed, and the soundtrack is just an amazing addition. What’s more, Defense Zone 2 is very easy to enter.

It’s also super easy to start a new game, you just place the towers you want and upgrade them as you start earning more money.
Also, you have the option to increase the speed of your towers by quickly upgrading them. While there are multiple tower types, each is suited to a specific type of enemy, so keep that in mind before placing any towers.
Sound and music can be turned off at any time from the Options menu, or if desired, by pressing the Escape key during gameplay.
After completing a level, you can view more information about your performance, such as how many points you’ve earned, how much health you have left, and how long you’ve spent playing the level.
All in all, I think Defense Zone 2 is a really fun game that you’ll have a lot of fun with. It’s easy to play and available for $4.99 from the Mac App Store.
