DAPlayer is an excellent free software for Windows operating system users. This software is capable of playing hundreds of different digital video file formats, including DivX and XviD video formats. The advantage of this software is that it can work together with other programs such as Microsoft Media Player or Windows Movie Maker, making editing digital video clips easier. Most importantly, DAPlayer can encrypt your files to protect them from unauthorized downloads.

Daplayer is a free video codec application developed by Digiarty Software as part of the Digiarty Pack. The application allows users to rip high-definition videos and convert them to regular files using Windows media player. Compression is easily accomplished using the built-in interface. To add additional features, there is an optional WMM codec package that gives users access to a large number of advanced features such as digital image decompression, high-definition audio conversion, image conversion, de-interpretation and password protection of digital video files. To further improve compatibility with other applications, DAPlayer integrates with the Linux console using the Linux Movie Maker toolkit.

DAPlayer supports decoding and playback of high definition video codecs, most commonly known as HVC/Pixoma. There are currently no known incompatibility issues between DAPlayer and other video codecs/encoders. Currently, the only known issue is that Windows may not properly decompress video files using the DAPlayer code if Windows Media Player fails to open the video file with the codec installed. To resolve this issue, the only option is to uninstall DAPlayer and then reinstall Windows Media Player using the same Application CD where DAPlayer is located.
