Metro Exodus – Sam’s Story is an expansion of the original post-apocalyptic game. It follows a soldier named Sam on his way home, leading the player through an exciting journey story with huge open maps, new weapons and fighting styles to explore.

Metro Exodus was one of the most loved action games to come out in 2019. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic setting and has earned a lot of respect from both 4A and Deep Silver, standing shoulder to shoulder with the best in horror. genre, for example Silent Hill.

After this success, the game received two expansions. Sam’s Story takes place after the end of the main game, inspired by Survival Horror. Here you follow an American Marine who leaves Vladivostok and decides to return home.

Exploration and diversity

This game features a completely new storyline and another map to explore. You’ll travel through swampy, swampy terrain that seems almost real thanks to the stellar graphics.

The new setting also brings new gameplay experiences. Like the original, this expansion focuses on exploration and finding heightened fear. As Sam, you’ll find new and creative ways to exploit your surroundings and fight off stealthy enemies.

You will receive two new weapons that will help you solve these problems. In addition to the rifle and pistol, you can use a wrist gadget that detects traps on the map.

Technical features

If you buy the expansion, you’ll get roughly ten extra hours of Exodus fun, not counting the side quests and checkpoints that allow you to reach the good ending. However, you will need the base game installed on your device of choice.

In terms of devices, you can run it on PC PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows. The system requirements for the latter allow it to run on Windows 7 computers, but Windows 10 is recommended for maximum enjoyment.

Fun addition

Despite the obvious shortcomings of this game, most Metro Exodus fans will enjoy it. 4A Games has made sure that the gameplay is exciting and new enough to justify the sometimes uneven execution, making it a must-try.
