Many versions of Windows have been released over the years with updated looks, updated features, and new functionality. But they all have one thing in common: the ever-popular Notepad text editor.

Notepad It’s actually a copy of the popular Notepad, optimized to run on ReactOS. Released under an open source license, the application provides a text editor with simple options and a basic feature set.

You can use it to open, create and edit simple text files and enjoy basic formatting tools such as word wrapping and text formatting.

The app has a built-in search function and Find and Replace tool that will definitely come in handy. You can also insert the current time and date into the text via the Edit menu.

There’s not much to say about RNotepad, because what you see is what you get: a simple text editor with a minimal feature set similar to the original Windows Notepad application.
