Since November 16-25 you can catch the fall maple leaves just like you could catch cherry blossoms earlier this year. You should pay attention to the big one Red maple leaves
and you will have to use your trusted network to catch them.
This guide is for Northern hemisphere Players Only: Southerners already had the chance to catch Maple Leaves earlier this year.

Once logged in after November 16, Isabelle will greet you with a message on how to find the leaves and give you your first recipe: pile of red leaves.
There is more Maple Leaf Recipes Collectibles by popping balloons, talking to your Islanders, and researching Recipe Bottles on your shore. To complete all of the seasonal recipes for November, you also need to keep an eye out for Acorns and Pineapples, which you can currently find in the Tree Shaking Game.
