A video from India shows police officers using a strange metallic device to catch dissidents who violate the rules of social distancing of coronaviruses.
"Hands in the air!" He barks a police officer at a man during a demonstration of the tool, which looks like some kind of cattle bite but is probably not (yet) electrified.
The dissident is trapped by the mechanism, which closes around his body like a sort of venus fly trap for humans.
The Chandigarh Police VIP security wing has designed this unique way of approaching uncooperative suspects and curfew breakers.

It could also be described as a kind of handcuffs for the whole body.
The officer then uses the tool to push the man toward the back of a truck.
"Thanks to this great reader, the police can now arrest the Covid dissidents without risking infection." Toby Young writes.
While the Singapore robot dog is a much more high-tech way to enforce social distancing, India seems to prefer going to the old school.
Robot dogs bark government orders at us. I can't wait for them to be equipped with Tasers by default. pic.twitter.com/j5uUb0zQ01
