Flutter is a small application that, once installed, gives you partial control over your computer’s music playback by simply raising your hand in front of your webcam.

The program is compatible with iTunes, Spotify, Winamp, and Windows Media Player, so you’ll have no trouble using it with the most important players today. Additionally, it works primarily with music, but when used with Windows Media Player, it is also used to pause videos.

Unfortunately, this version of the program is still in its very early stages and currently only recognizes pause and play, so the very useful volume up/down is not available.

Once the program is running, it will be hidden in your taskbar without any distractions and you can turn off your webcam with a click of the icon.

Flutter is a very interesting addon for regular users of any of the four programs mentioned in the second paragraph. Because you can pause the music in a much more convenient way than clicking.
