Dynamic, alternate gameplay means you can always react and counter, but so can your opponent. Choose from dozens of champion cards to add to your deck, each with a different mechanic inspired by their original League of Legends abilities.

Champions enter battle as powerful cards, and if you play smart, they become even more epic. The more you play, level up your champions multiple times in-game to earn the Champion Mastery Crest.

Every champion and ally in the game comes from a region of Rantera that includes Demasia, Knoxus, Fraljord, Piltover and Zun, Ionia, Tarragon, Shurima, and the Shadow Isles.

play to win, don’t pay to win
Earn cards for free with Sharks and Wildcards or buy exactly what you want—you’re in control of your collection, and you’ll never pay for a random pack of cards. While there is always the option to buy specific cards, you can easily complete your collection without spending a cent.

Win or lose, every battle brings experience and progress. Choose which area you want to explore first and unlock allies, spells and champions that call on you.

Once a week you will also open the chest from the vault. The more you play, these chests level up, increasing the rarity of cards all the way from commoners to champions. Chests can also contain wildcards, which you can convert to any card you want.

climb the ranks
At the end of each season, players with 1024 qualifying ranks on each of the LOR’s four regional sharks (America, Asia, Europe and Southeast Asia) will be able to compete in seasonal tournaments for glory, glory and cash prizes.

But ranked play isn’t the only way to qualify for a seasonal tournament – you can also run the Last Chance Gauntlet. Gauntlet is a limited time competitive mode with unique rules and special rewards.

In Expeditions, draft and build a deck using champions, followers, spells from all over Runeterra—even if they’re not in your collection! Then test your new strategy against other players and battle for the rewards.

Labs is a limited-time experimental game mode focused on more extreme changes to the classic Legends of Runterra formula. Choose a premade deck with specific odds, or bring your own.
