Limitations and Disclosures

As with all apps, there are some limitations that we are aware of and wish you knew about already.

• We are not associated in any way with any web media provider and we have no control over the content they provide.
• The app does not support tab casting like the Chromecast extension for PC web browsers.
• We can do nothing to fix problems that may arise on the server side (media content provider) such as failure to play or buffering, which are especially common during heavy load times and weekends.

Permission

• Wi-Fi connection information – Required for streaming device and browser.
• Photos/Media/Files (normally storage) – Required for download functionality.
• In-app purchases – for the premium version.
• Wake-Lock – To keep the phone awake while the video is being routed through the phone. Only live streams and certified videos should be affected.
• Account/Identity – Required for Google Play Services (7.5+).
• Location – This is only requested on devices with Android 6+ so that the user has a chance to make a decision and is only requested if the website you are browsing wants to know your location. You can always refuse it, it will not affect anything other than that website.
