62 mph, 21 inch wheels, summer tires

Most of us know that the Porsche Taycan Turbo S has an EPA estimated range of only 192 miles. However, a long list of drivers has shown that the car can travel much further at an additional cost. The EPA has just released its estimates for the Taycan 4S entry level. It sets its range to only 203 miles, but then again, people will surely have more.

In the video above, the 100% electric Porsche is tested at an average speed of 62 mph (100 km / h). In Canada, as in many other countries, this is a typical speed limit. We tested electric cars at a constant speed of 70 mph and drove them to the point of exhaustion, but there are many ways to drive it. The important thing is to make sure you have a consistent baseline for testing so that vehicles can be compared fairly.

In this test, the Taycan Turbo S uses its 21-inch wheels and summer tires. The unit changes the car from a state of charge from 100% to 50%, so not until it is empty, which means that the full range is estimated.

It is the end of the afternoon and the conditions are mild and clear. The driver admits that he did not control the tire air, but the impact should only be marginal. We are happy to report that your data suggests a range of 300 miles, which we recently saw from another driver.
