JK Tire, the local tire manufacturer, has announced plans to start producing hand sanitizers to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic. The company will produce hand sanitizers under a new brand: Total Control Hand Sanitizers. JK Tire says it developed the hand sanitizer at its Global Technology Center – the Raghupati Singhania Center of Excellence – in Mysuru, according to guidelines issued by the World Health Organization. It has acquired all the necessary approvals and licenses for the disinfectant in a record time of eight days, and its production will take place at Jay Kay Gram, factory in Kankroli, Rajasthan.
