When it comes to ordering Chinese takeout, it can be difficult to decide what to order.
Duck Pancakes, Chicken Chow Mein, Egg Fried Rice, Spring Rolls, and Shrimp Crackers – There are simply too many options available.
On TikTok, a woman demonstrated her method of placing food on a communal tray.
Many people supported the method and many viewers said it was the most effective way to present it.
But others thought it might just let the food cool down faster or they didn’t like the idea of the dishes getting mixed up.
The video on TikTok has been shared 782,000 times since it was shared by user @ @mami_gascoigne.
It has racked up more than 2,000 comments and 34,600 likes since it was uploaded this weekend.

It shows a baking tray full of steaming vessels, starting with the fries.
Next, a serving of ribs is added, followed by stir-fried noodles and spicy chicken curry, egg fried rice, and sweet and sour chicken.
The salt and pepper chicken is placed on top before the chicken is drizzled with the sauce and a few shrimp crackers are added, along with a dollop of spring rolls.

The plating of the plate left people divided, with one onlooker calling it “the best idea.”
Another commented: “Thank you for this amazing and brilliant thing that you have created.”
A third added: “Right on set, I like it.”
But others weren’t as interested, as one viewer commented, “I’ve never seen Chinese food treated with such disrespect.”
Another joked, “I can’t believe you put a sweet and sour sauce on the chicken with salt and pepper. I was also very interested.
