When Pinky Jones moved into her new home, one of the first pieces of furniture she ordered was a sofa to give the family a place to relax.
She found an L-shaped five-seater sofa with ottoman online for an incredible price of £ 185 and said she hopes it is big enough for her, her fiance Joseph and her five children at the moment.
After patiently waiting 10 weeks for Wayfair to deliver it to her, Pinky became a little worried when Jospeh told her that the package that had arrived seemed much smaller than expected.
“My fiance was inside when he arrived and he said he looked small but I thought maybe they should put it together to make shipping easier,” he said. she declared.
But it wasn’t until they took it out of the box that Pinky found out she had accidentally ordered a toddler sofa, which was only 22 inches tall, and posed for some fun photos on the furniture she hoped would fit the seven.

“I had to laugh, it’s literally a baby couch,” said the 36-year-old Florida property manager. “I never dreamed I bought it for a child.
“I thought it would be a real sofa, big enough for my living room. Nowhere did he say it was for a child and it was listed in the lounge section of the website.
“He said he could seat five so I figured at least the five kids could squeeze him and my fiance and I could sit on the bean bags for now.
“I really wanted it to arrive because we don’t have any furniture and I waited ten weeks for delivery.
“It’s boring because now I don’t have any furniture in my living room, but I had a sad childhood and I’m homeless.
“I was able to buy my own house now, so they gave me too many lemons to complain about, I found that very funny.”
Before flipping the couch, Pinky posed for the photos and shared them on Facebook, where it quickly went viral, racking up more than 59,000 shares.
She said, “I didn’t expect it to be that big. I posted it on Facebook just for my friends and when I got back to my phone it had just exploded.
“I could not believe it”.
NAIL donation page was set up to raise money to help the family pay for a new sofa after Pinky said they had not received a refund from Wayfair, and that they have since exceeded the target after the story was shared on social networks.
