The woman demonstrated the method when her daughter celebrated her 20th birthday with her friends, and it is certainly unconventional.

The clip shows her daughter blowing out the candles before each member of the group takes turns choosing a slice of cake on the edge with a glass of wine and cheering her on.

But we have so many questions.

Wouldn’t it be easier to wash a small plate instead of cleaning delicate wine glasses? And more importantly, what if someone pushes too hard and your glass breaks on the cake?

Since its publication, the video has been viewed over 1.6 million times and liked 457,000 times.

And while some people thought the hack was cool, especially because it was Covid-proof, others were quick to find fault with it.
