European Commission opens consultation on new climate change adaptation strategy

As part of the Green Europe Agreement, the European Commission announced on May 14 that it plans to present a new climate adaptation strategy in early 2021 and will open today today a public consultation on this issue.

According to the Commission, the new adaptation strategy will build on the current strategy adopted in 2013. The Commission has said that it is also publishing the results of the new PESETA project today, which presents the expected impacts of climate change in the EU and beyond.
