Acronis True Image is a storage software that protects files, including .iso files, in its cloud. It offers active file protection and full disk backup for Windows devices running Windows 8.1 or later. Acronis ensures that developers do not have access to or know the contents of your files. Using end-to-end encryption, it protects your files from data leaks and hacks. You can also set up a local encryption key to prevent anyone from hacking into your account and taking your most valuable files.

Functions

This online backup service offers both local storage and cloud storage options. Files are encrypted in Advanced Encryption Standard with 256-bit keys or AES-256. This is the industry standard for data security. You can also create your own local encryption key. This is a non-recoverable key that even Acronis developers do not have access to. What they do collect is your contact and billing information, as well as service logs and device information.

Acronis uses it to contact you in case of an emergency and to tailor its services to your needs. The installer is a hefty 500MB, so it may take some time to install. Once you’ve signed in to your account, you can start setting up your backup. By default, Acronis saves your entire hard drive. You can select the folders or files you want to save.

You will also need to specify the destination of the file. You can choose between Acronis Cloud or your local folder. Once you have selected the source and target, you simply click the “Back Up Now” button. You can also set an automatic backup schedule. This can be daily, weekly or monthly. If you are working with highly sensitive or sensitive files, there is also a Nonstop Backup option.

First-class online backup

Acronis provides reliable data storage capabilities in an intuitive interface. Not many backup storage programs can store an entire optical disc by default and don’t offer gigabyte storage plans.
