Autodesk DWG Trueview allows you to view .DWG files. The application includes the DWG software TrueConvert, which allows you to convert new .DWG files to work with older versions of AutoCAD.

The native file format for AutoCAD data files is .DWG. It contains all the information that the user enters, for example; drawings, geometric data, maps and photographs. The DWG workspace allows you to shape, visualize, draw, annotate, and measure. Although DWG technology is still commonly associated with AutoCAD, it is an integral part of many other products such as Revit building design software and Inventor 3D CAD software.

Autodesk DWG Trueview has DXF support for AutoCAD R12, AutoCAD 2000, AutoCAD 2004, AutoCAD 2007, AutoCAD 2010, AutoCAD 2013. It also supports digital signatures; DWG/DWF password protection, and the drawing size supports full DWG compression.
