There is nothing flashy about the interface of AstroTelescope. Obviously, the application focuses on functionality and does not unnecessarily clutter your workspace.

You can zoom in and out, rotate the star map, and use the included search function to find any objects you might be interested in. The app displays detailed information about the currently selected item and the position of the telescope.

Easy-to-use app that allows you to control the connected telescope

After installing AstroTelescope, you need to configure various settings related to your device, observatory location, star map, driver, and INDI (Instrument Neutral Distributed Interface).

The app also includes a manual control panel that can be used to start or stop tracking and rotate the telescope in any direction.

Designed for use with AstroImager and AstroGuider

There is no doubt that AstroTelescope is a stand-alone application that does not require any additional software to run normally. However, the integrated INDI server allows you to share data, such as the equatorial coordinates of the current position, telescope focal length and aperture, or various operations.

If AstroImager is running on the local network, the metadata used in the FITS header is set by AstroTelescope.

In general, this is a useful application for those interested in astronomy and astrophotography. It allows you to view and navigate star maps or control connected telescopes, and can be easily integrated with other applications.
