Category labels for Google Keep Is a Chrome plug-in designed to improve your experience when using the Google Keep web application. The extension adds a colored tab bar to the Google Keep interface, and you can use the tabs to sort your entries.
Click the mouse in Chrome to access the Google Keep service
To deploy Category Tabs for the Google Keep extension, you need to navigate to the corresponding Chrome Store entry in the host application and click the “Add to Chrome” button in the upper right corner of the page.
Google Keep’s category label icon will be placed next to the address bar, and as soon as you click on it, it will launch the Google Keep web application in a new tab. Please note that the category tags of Google Keep features are seamlessly integrated with the platform, so you don’t need to deal with them separately.
More importantly, through the Chrome keyboard shortcut panel, you can set keyboard combinations for extensions so that you can launch the Google Keep page in your browser without relying on the mouse.

Google Keep’s category labels come with eight color labels (blank, red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, blue, and gray). Even if you can’t change the color, you can choose to set a custom text label. However, the Google Keep Android application has an option to change the color of the note category.
Once the category label of the Google Keep add-on is active, you can arrange the old and new entries by category, and thanks to the color label, you can find them faster. When adding notes via the Google Keep Android or Chrome app, don’t forget to use the same color tags.
