This Colibri The project aims to replace traditional web browsers for users who need a more limited tool set and do not want to waste resources by running a full-featured solution.
Please note that you do not need to register to use the Colibri browser, but if you want to save links and create lists, you need to obtain an account. Currently, as the Colibri application is in beta, registration is free.
Navigate to your favorite website in a clutter-free environment
Compared with other traditional browsers, Colibri will not always keep the address bar visible and will not provide support for using tabs. This means that most of the available space is reserved for the actual display of the web page.
However, the top Colibri toolbar includes buttons for refreshing the page or navigating back and forth. In addition, you can add the current link to your favorites or switch to the link manager.
Please note that if you click on the title of a web page, you can see the link address and a short description of the page. More importantly, you can put the URL link on the clipboard.
Organize websites into different collections and access lists on other devices
Colibri associates all saved links with your account, which allows you to access your collection on almost any device. Please keep in mind that although Windows, Android, and iOS companion apps are under development, the project currently only has macOS clients.
You can browse the saved link collection in the Colibri Manager panel, and quickly associate them to different lists through the associated context menu. To help you distinguish faster, Colibri provides the option of relying on color labels.
Web browser with clutter-free user interface and built-in link manager
Most importantly, Colibri provides you with a simple website navigation solution without wasting space for the bars and buttons that you don’t use frequently. The fact that you cannot use tabs further reduces the confusion.
Colibri supports browsing in private mode, but be sure to check the privacy policy of the service.
