Katievi is a Mac application that uses the Bonjour protocol to automatically discover TiVo devices connected to your network and allows you to transfer video captures to your Mac. Additionally, the app can help you convert video files to formats compatible with specific devices.

At startup, cTiVo scans your network for compatible TiVo devices. The app can be used with various models such as Roamio, Premiere, S3, S2 or HD.

Additionally, through the cTiVo Preferences window, you can connect to a remote TiVos by providing an IP address.

In the main window of the application, you can see a list of available content, and you can choose to download the data to your desktop computer. cTiVo allows you to specify the output folder and desired video format (Apple TV, Decrypted TiVo Shows, DVD, H.264, iPhone or iPod Compatible, QuickTime, MPEG, etc.).

Furthermore, cTiVo allows you to monitor the status of each download and offers you the possibility to follow subscriptions.

If you choose to subscribe to a specific show, cTiVo will automatically stream each episode and even sync it to your iPhone or iPad.

For convenience, cTiVo can flag ads to make them easier to skip during playback, or remove them entirely. If you choose the latter, cTiVo will also delete the associated subtitles by recreating the subtitle file to avoid any issues.
