That being said, installing Dabble on your Mac and starting to use it is as easy as dragging it from the mounted DMG image to your /Applications folder.

As previously mentioned, the Dabble app comes with a user-friendly interface, which will enable you to start writing as soon as the app has launched. The only you need to do is to create a project, and Dabble will automatically generate a manuscript structure on top of which you can effortlessly build up your book.

It is also worth mentioning that Dabble can also be used in full-screen mode, and it will automatically fade out everything else in the interface, from menus to scene notes,  to make sure that you stay focused on your writing.

Inbuilt plot design utility and auto-updating feature

Dabble features a built-in plot design tool which transforms the daunting task of creating a simple to follow plot for your book into child’s play. Dabble’s plot designer also comes with support for subplots, making it the perfect tool to effortlessly track how your novel’s storylines affect each other.

As an extra bonus, Dabble will automatically check for new updates in the background, all you’re required to do is to restart, and it will auto-update itself with all the bug fixes and new features available in the new release.

Although Dabble is a nicely thought out app and an excellent tool to write your latest book as it is, it is important to consider that, at this stage, it still in a beta phase.

All in all though, despite being still in beta, Dabble is a robust novel writing utility and a must have for any writer who needs a full-featured plot designing tool to make sure its latest book will captivate readers from the first chapter.
