Cutting log It is a professional software application designed to help you manage your sawmill business. It supports functions that allow you to increase the profit and utilization of wood, calculate the best saw cut for a given diameter, and optimize costs.

Clean functional lineup
The GUI looks clean and provides a clear panel with a set of tools that can be activated by clicking the mouse.
The downside is that the help manual is not supported, and the configuration parameter list is difficult to digest, so novices may need to invest extra time and effort to decode the functions of the program.
Wood types, shrinkage rates, specifications and products
CutLog allows you to track multiple wood species and information about species IDs, local names, and Latin names.
The shrinkage allowance for various species can be retained (including detailed information about the nominal size at 20% humidity). In addition, you can enter data about the specification number, description, length and roundness, and adjust the thickness/width of the wood.
In terms of product management, the application allows you to view a large amount of information about each product, such as invoice thickness and width, cutting width, price range, and notes. You can add or delete groups and export data to XLS file format.
Optimization and additional features
The tool supports multiple optimization modules, namely FlexiCut 2, Circular, Flexi, Multi or Pattern Cut. Each of the above parameters comes with a feature-rich setting kit that can help you define the process in detail.
CutLog allows you to adjust monthly settings (e.g. fixed and variable costs, working hours, production minutes), manage sawing speed, track customers (e.g. name, street, country, email address) and suppliers ( Such as street, city, country/region, contact person, mobile phone number), and calculate the cost based on labor cost, burden rate and profit.
