New features of Lagrange 1.4.0:
- Added split view mode: two tabs at a time, horizontal/vertical split, 1:1/2:1/1:2 weight, merge tabs, swap side. For details, see section 1.8 in the Help.
- Split view fix: fix the page on one side, and all open links are moved to the other side.
- The URL “file://” can be used to view the contents of local directories and ZIP archives.
- Gempub’s basic support: The cover is generated based on metadata, and has an automatic split view of index and content. On macOS, Lagrange has been registered as a viewer for .gpub files.

A few words about Gemini space and how it works
If you are familiar with the network, as we know it today, then you may have heard of other communication network formats before. Gemini space is one of those environments that promote knowledge sharing, communication and resource placement (as opposed to HTTP/S hypertext transfer protocol/security). It runs based on the Gemini protocol (via TSL-Transport Layer Security, an encryption method used to provide security when connecting to a network).
Gemini space and protocol are intended to be used for unique connections generated at a time. Each connection instance is treated as a transaction, similar to the well-known HTTP request GET: open (by the client), accept (by the server), TSL verification (by both the client and the server), and then verify that you are accessing The number of certificates of the server (by the client).
