You don’t need to be a social media manager to know that most browsers are completely incapable of handling multiple active sessions to the same service at once.

Meet Conversation Boxa lightweight and useful Google Chrome extension that provides you with an efficient way to log into multiple accounts on the same web service without resorting to other browsers or “incognito” session tricks.

The extension can be easily installed from the Chrome Web Store, it lives next to the Chrome address bar, and requires you to create a SessionBox cloud account to get started.

Before we go into further details, you should know that this extension features client-side encryption, so you don’t have to worry too much about potential hijacking by services running in other tabs that are not managed by SessionBox.

First log in to a specific platform with one of your accounts. The extension automatically helps you save new sessions. For better visual orientation, a small colored dot is assigned to the active session tab. Once the session is saved, it can be accessed and managed from the Home section of SessionBox by clicking on its icon.

From now on, you can simply click the “plus” button to add a new session for the website you are currently visiting. Conveniently, the extension allows you to organize sessions in groups.

With that in mind, you can sort entries by session, site, or group. There’s also a Recent menu, accessible by clicking a hamburger-style button in the compact UI, which should make it easier to perform repetitive tasks.

Without a doubt, SessionBox is a very efficient Chrome extension. It’s easy to install, takes your privacy very seriously, syncs your multiple sessions to all your devices, and once you get used to it, you’ll even find it pretty intuitive.

However, there is one small problem. While a typical user who only uses 2-3 sessions will probably be quite happy with its appearance and workflow, users who use more than 5 or 6 active sessions per site will definitely want a larger and even resizable UI, and probably more customization options.
