Using CAD software no longer means you also need PC skills.

Also applies to Computer-aided design system: You just need to spend some time studying its menus and buttons to understand its functions, and then start drawing the projects you need.

After you have given your new project a name, you can start selecting the type of elements you want. SETCAD allows you to add lines and polylines, as well as circles and arcs.

If you are adding a circle, you can select one of the available presets: Center, Radius; Center, Diameter; 2-Point; 3-Point; Tangent, Tangent, Radius; or Tangent, Tangent, Tangent.

When inserting an arc, SETCAD provides you with several presets: 3 points; start point, center, end point; start point, center, angle; start point, center, length; start point, end point, angle; start point, end point, direction; start point, end point, radius; center, start point, end point; center, start point, angle; center, start point, length.

Once all elements have been added, you can proceed to the next step and modify them to your liking. Supported editing includes: move, mirror, chamfer, copy, erase, explode, extend, scale, rotate, stretch, array, and connect.

You can also tamper with layer properties or add comments to the current project.

You can insert blocks or even PNG images, and measure distances, radii, areas or angles – you just need to define the processing elements you are interested in.

A neat feature of SETCAD is that you can modify the color, line type and weight, text style, and the appearance of lines, polylines, and dimensions.

SETCAD can easily become your preferred solution for developing CAD projects and then exporting the results to DXF or PDF.
