H locker is a simple two-part application that protects folders by hiding them from other users. The two-part aspect comes from the fact that the program comes with two executables, a locker and an unlocker. Why these elements are separated, who knows? It is obvious that the hiding and locking process takes place through a CMD-like process, which is not difficult to understand, even for users who stay away from CMD.

Lock your directories and make them invisible

To hide a folder, first you must have the directory path in the clipboard. Start the locker and follow the steps. CMD UI will ask for the full folder path. Once you have the path in the clipboard, right-click on the path in the UI to load it. Press Enter and wait for the Y/N confirmation prompt to appear.

Hiding directories is not the only advantage of H-locker. After all, the locker part has to be represented somehow. It is also possible to set a password on a hidden folder in case someone accidentally discovers it, although this is not possible except through the use of an unlocker. Enter and re-enter your password to complete the operation. After a short confirmation, the target folder will be protected and disappear from its location.

Use the unlocker to undo changes

Backup folder path is an essential operation when using H-locker. Without it, the unlocker is useless and your hidden folders will remain intact. Running an unlocker is as easy as a locker. Provide path again, password, if yes, your hidden folder is back.
