Developer Tripwire Interactive returns with the third installment in its beloved Killing Floor series, aptly titled Killing Floor III. It will join the ranks of Killing Floor and Killing Floor II as a fast-paced first-person shooter. Feeling like a Nightfall rebel, the player will travel through a dystopian world set in 2091.

Currently, Killing Floor III is still in active development. It is revealed that the plot of Killing Floor III revolves around an attempt to kill the Zeds, an eldritch biological horror created by the megacorporation Horzine. To succeed, you’ll have to team up with four other people and shoot down their hordes. As you progress through the rounds, you can unlock skills and get new weapons. You can also earn dosh. Based on all this, the game is expected to follow its predecessors in terms of violence and bloodshed. However, since it is still in development, there is little information available yet.

Overall, what we already know about Killing Floor III lays the foundation for a solid and tense first-person shooter. Team up in teams of up to five people and completely eradicate the Zeds. However, players just need to be wary of the violence and gore that they may encounter during the game.
