Kite Lets you design iOS and Mac apps in a WYSIWYG environment and create animations that describe how everything should work without writing a single line of code.

Once you’re happy with your project, you can record your own interactions with the prototype and export the captures as MOV video files or GIFs. This way you can immediately show the functionality to others.

Design desktop or mobile applications with intuitive tools

To help you get started, Kite offers a range of project templates that you can start prototyping for your phone (iPhone, iPhone Plus, iPhone 4″, Android), tablet (iPad or iPad Pro), watch (42mm or 38mm) , TV (HD), or desktop (small, medium, large) applications.

Additionally, Kite comes with a collection of examples that you can explore to see how everything works and what can be accomplished with the prototyping utility.

In the Kite editing area, you can use multiple layers and access the built-in project library, enabling you to add text, shapes, pages, videos, actions, scripts, and various other elements with simple drag-and-drop operations. Of course, every element can be customized and adjusted to match your project.

Interact with animations and create demo videos or GIFs

Kite offers you the possibility to include animations into your project and preview the effect while designing. What’s more, you can activate the recording tool and capture the interaction: the resulting MOV or GIF file can be easily shared with others.

Note that Kite allows you to decide the recording duration, the area to capture, the scale and frame rate, and whether cursor or mouse clicks should be included. These options are great if you want to showcase certain features or interactions.

It’s worth mentioning that Project Kite comes with a companion app for iOS that allows you to send prototypes to actual devices and experiment with designs without restrictions.

Prototyping tool for iOS and Mac apps, also includes support for animations

To reduce time spent on projects, Kite can import designs from Sketch and retain all editable path and text elements. So, in the Kite editor, you just use the built-in JavaScript engine to define interactions and create animations.

Kite presents a streamlined and intuitive WYSIWYG environment where you can work on projects for mobile and desktop platforms without worrying about the coding behind functions.
