launch control is an easy-to-use Mac application that provides a sleek and well-organized GUI and allows you to leverage the power of the framework in a more streamlined way.

Visualize services running on your Mac and instantly identify dead processes

On startup, LaunchControl scans your system and identifies user, system or global agents and daemons. The app sorts them by category, and you can choose what to browse from a drop-down menu (you may need to provide an admin password).

The LaunchControl main window is divided into three main areas: the left panel where you can view a list of running services, the right panel where you can browse the application’s collection of keys that you can add to documents, and the center section where you can visualize Configure key content.

Filter, disable or completely delete services you don’t need and create new ones

LaunchControl offers you the possibility to visualize the content of the launched configuration key and even to edit its content. The app provides support for most startup functions and even enables you to edit configuration keys in expert mode.

However, if the key doesn’t work, just disable the service, or delete it entirely. Note that LaunchControl will not stop the process immediately, but will remove it from the job list the next time you start the system.
