Lightworks free

Lightworks Free is our free version of Lightworks available to everyone. Lightworks Free has all the power of Lightworks, so you can only export to MPEG-4 (Web, YouTube and Vimeo) with a maximum resolution of 720p.

Lightworks PRO

Lightworks Pro includes support for Blackmagic, AJA and Matrox hardware I/O. Project sharing, which enables groups of editors to work and collaborate together within their network environment. Export to all broadcast mastering formats such as Avid DNxHD, Panasonic and Sony formats, AVCHD, MOV, MXF, AVI. Interchange with other applications (AVID, Protools, FCP, Resolve) with AAF, OMF, EDL and Movie Clipboards. You can even export to a distribution format MPEG-4 (Web, YouTube and Vimeo) with a maximum resolution of 1080p or to DVD and Blu-ray.

Unmatched native format support

Lightworks has the widest format support available in any professional NLE. MXF, Quicktime and AVI containers, with almost any format you can imagine importing natively without the need for transcoding, from ProRes, Avid DNxHD, AVC-Intra, DVCPRO HD, RED R3D, DPX, AVCHD (with AC3 audio ), H. 264, XDCAM EX / HD 422, all on the same timeline in real time. Multicam editing

Sync it directly with your edit with the click of a button, and even generate an auto-edit from the sync pool, saving you hours of time. If you need to change a clip in the editor, just right-click on the clip and select another or scroll through the available options with a keyboard shortcut. You even have the option to upload directly to your YouTube account in one easy step, giving you more time to make a better movie!

Whether you use the predefined keyboard shortcuts to your liking (AVID, FCP) or create macros to speed up your workflow, Lightworks allows quick and easy configuration to suit your needs. Want to use Lightworks in your native language? No problem, just use one of the included language packs: Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Italian, Indonesian, German, French, Bengali, Czech, Turkish, Polish, Thai, Japanese or Chinese.
